Making Democracy Work

Democracy is not a spectator sport.

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization encouraging informed and active participation in government. It influences public policy through education and advocacy.
The League meets on the second and fourth Mondays of each month from September through May. The meeting on the second Monday is held at Nacho's at the Elmwood Golf Course on Thatcher Avenue, from 11:30 to 1:00. The meeting on the fourth Monday is held at 5:30 pm, also at Nacho's at the Golf Course. Cost is $12 for luncheons.
